Two years ago the language teacher at our school carried out a reading marathon during a day. A well-known person in our city came to school to tell students stories about Bell Ville´s urban legends. Before this presentation, we had the opportunity to listen to Guillermo Barrantes- author of Buenos Aires es Leyenda 1- reading one of his amusing stories. The objectives of this marathon were:
- to engage students with reading fantastic stories
- to get them involved with myths and legends
- to captivate their attention while listening to someone reading.
